LOOK! Look at all the Vintage Vogue patterns for $3.88! If I was home with my sewing machine I'd totally buy a few. We were watching "North By Northwest" today and I fell in LOVE with this dress.
And here's a pattern that looks just like it!!
I also heart these.
P.S. Taylor's on her way!!

I'm Banksy
Today I had to get out of the house, pretty much like every day, but today was a beautiful day and Nathan was done with classes at noon. When I need to get out of the house, Nathan likes to have a destination (he hates walking aimlessly). I, however, don't like having a destination. That just means that once you get there, you start to go back. Today's aimless walking lead us to some neato places! 10 points to Kelsey.
We walk by this church all the time, but it's easy to miss. It's tucked in next to a Tesco and a video store. Inside there's a tomb/memorial that has graffiti carved into the marble and I was like... who would do that? Then I looked closer and one dated from the 1600's. I just pictured in my head a 17th century hooligan tagging a statue "Finnigan loves Marian spring break 1664"! Then we decided to finally go inside the Bristol Cathedral! These are the things I'm gonna show Taylor when she comes to visit. Just a nice little walk around Bristol and for free you can see churches that are hundreds of years old. No big deal. Then we can go to Cabot Circus and walk around Top Shop and H&M. Word.
Harbor walk is a fun time too. Especially with this beautiful weather, it's really nice to walk down to the water and see all the different boats/ships/yachts/ferrys. One of the ships we've walked by was in Pirates of the Caribbean! Neat.
Taylor will be here soooooooon!

And the Daffodils Look Lovely Today
HORROR, I found my first grey hair the other day. Yikes. I dread the day when my hair turns coarse and old-lady-ish. This hair felt like it was from a horse's bum bum. Sigh Bristol is in bloom!! England has been loverly this past week! Ovrnight it's gone from winter coat to removing my light jacket due to warmth. And the Daffodils remind me of Maryland home :)

Zaz jazz
I can't get enough of this song.
I want to do all of this when I have some sort of permanent residence.
This will be funny for hours.
This is Englishy.
I didn't spend all day on the internat today. It was a beautiful day..... so I decided to do some Spring cleaning... what is wrong with me?? I think the sun inspired me to get up and go, so I hoovered every last inch of the flat and Nathan helped clean the bathroom since one of his classes was cancelled today. Then we did a small shopping trip and took a lovely walk. I wish I had my camera! Daffodils and Crocuses are in full bloom and you can just start to smell spring coming. Maybe I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them.

Doctor Who Day Trip
Yesterday Nathan and I had a fun day trip to Wales! It was really needed for me because I've been feeling really trapped in our flat. I have no reason to go out and the weather's not good enought o just walk around. Anyway, we took an hour train ride to Cardiff, Wales (or Caerdydd, Cymru in Welsh:) ) where they shoot a lot of Doctor Who and Torchwood (a Doctor Who off-shoot). They had a "Doctor WHo Experience" with some props and costumes from the show. These are some of the things I was most excited to see. All the pictures from the trip are here.
Martha's signature red jacket, displayed two below on the right.
He's fighting in his pajamas, diplayed in the middle below.
For dinner we had burgers and curly fries (so good!) at this cute 50's style diner because we were told they filmed an episode of Torchwood there for this upcoming season. Yay!
